We're still alive....

...just not functioning at 100%. We probably won't be for a while, and that's ok. Just don't come over and expect to, ya know, be able to see the floor for all the random clothes (clean and dirty), toys, and snack crumbs. Forget dirty dishes - it's the dirty baby bottles that are multiplying like rabbits! I haven't cleaned a toilet in weeks and I don't even know where my deodorant is, but we ARE alive! That's what's important, right?!

The last 7 weeks have gone pretty smoothly. My mom was here for the first month (HUGE, HUGE BLESSING). We couldn't have done it without her. I love that she has been able to come for the birth of each of our children and stay a while and help. It's a special time for both of us - we laugh, we cry (mostly due to lack of sleep) - it's great!
{Thanks, Mom, for everything!}

The last week has been a little bit on the rough side. Oh, who am I kidding...it was a TRAIN WREAK!!!!! I had a 3 day migraine that landed me in bed with an occasional run to the little girls room to expel my lunch. I ended up going to Prompt care to get an injection to try to end the misery! In the meantime, Hubs was holding down the fort and all four kiddos (doing a fine job, I might add). He even did the night shift with the twins all on his own - What a man!!! By the time I recovered, both of the boys had double ear infections AND Hubs had thrown his back out! When it rains it pours.

BUT........we are alive!

And we are so thankful for all four of these little blessings God has placed in our care. It's a little overwhelming at times, but other times we're overwhelmed with joy! God is so good!

Merry Christmas, friends!
